سيكون من مهام “محرر/ة الفيديو” العمل على تطوير محتوى الفيديو، وتوسيع شبكة المساهمين من صناع الفيديو، والإشراف على إنتاجهم وتحريره بما يتماشى مع سياسة تحرير المنصة.
يشترط في المتقدمات والمتقدمين للوظيفة امتلاكهم خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في إنتاج وتحرير الفيديو، ومهارات استخدام البرامج والأدوات المختلفة والحديثة في إنتاج الوسائط المرئية والمؤثرات البصرية والسمعية، وإجادة اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية نطقاً وكتابةً.

Summary of the job:
Al Manassa Al Shababya is looking for a highly creative individual with artistic skills a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment for the position of Video Editor. Under overall supervision of the Editor in chief, the Video Editor will be responsible for the video content development, editing, production (including videos produced by Contributors) to ensure accurate presentation of Al Manassa Al Shababya/or the producer’s intention/goal/vision.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and facilitate regular engaging content on the website to support projects goals for social change using storytelling techniques, including social experiments videos
Contribute to all major online and editorial social media campaigns on emerging platforms.
Commission contributors to produce video content for website; Coordinate invoices and payments for freelancers and contributors on the platforms.
Build and expand video makers’ network in Yemen.
Edit video content from contributors in line with editorial policies.
Maintain and post videos in the Content Management System.
Work with online editor to develop and implement project specific content strategy.
Maximize the performance and impact of the website Maximize the performance and impact of the website and YouTube Channel to reach annual target and KPI’s.
Set agenda and participate in editorial meetings to discuss, review past videos and brainstorm for upcoming themes and events;
Coordinate video content and themes with the social media editor;
Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to the job.
Any other relevant duties assigned by the Editor in Chief.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Media /Journalism / Film Production or any relevant Humanitarian/Development field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Video Production/Editing.
Strong knowledge and Experience in software / computer programs used for Video Editing.
Previous work experience with non-profit organizations, or National & international NGOs.
Very good command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
Excellent skills in creating 3D material / special effects.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently.
